Spicy Chicken Wings

Had a craving for wings so, luckily there were some drummettes in the freezer. Used the same sauce as the Buffalo Tofu Bites but this one is thicker and I put more hot sauce in it.

Ingredients:

Sauce:
Franks Red Hot Sauce
Blairs Sudden Death Hot Sauce
2 tbsp Honey
3 tbsp Butter
1tsp Corn starch
1/4 c cold water

Chicken Wings:
2 lbs of drummettes
salt
pepper
thyme
garlic powder
vegetable oil to coat

Directions:

Pre heat oven to 230C (we were making fries as well)

Throw all the chicken wing ingredients into a bowl and cover all the chicken wings with seasoning and oil.

place chicken wings on a greased pan and place in oven.

cook for 20 mins, turning after 10 mins.

while chicken is cooking. Place the hot sauces, honey and butter into a sauce and and cook until butter is melted.

in a separate bowl, mix water and corn starch together to form a type of slurry.

when well mixed pour mixture into sauce pan with hot sauces.

In order to thicken the corn starch the mixture the liquid must boil to get it fully consistency. Allow mixture to come to bowl and cook for a minute stirring often.

when chicken is down place is a large enough bowl to toss the sauce and wings together.
