Candied Bacon, Maple Whipped Cream Donuts

Ingredients:
Donuts - see link above for recipe.
bacon
brown sugar
maple syrup
Directions:
Candy the bacon
Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon and cook in oven.
Once cooked, let cool and chop into large bacon bits.
Make the donuts

Make Whipped Cream
Chill Bowl in freezer before starting.
With chilled bowl whip the cream until soft peaks.
Pour in maple syrup.
Whip until firm peaks.
Fold in bacon bits.
Making the donut of awesomeness
I couldnt find a pastry tip big enough to fill them with whipped cream and bacon. So I cut the donuts in half.
Filled it with a layer of whipped cream.
Put top half back on.
Enjoy!
